SAPERAVI - Autochthonous variety from the east Georgian region of Kakheti. Saperi means “dyed” in Georgian. Saperavi is a teinturier-type grape variety native to the country Georgia, its skin and pulp are both deeply colored and produce very inky wines. It is deeply hued rich red, dark cherry color.
